Best Organizing Products from The Container Store SelfAdhesive Instant Wheels
Hi everyone. It's Alejandra and I want to tell you about one of my favorite organizing products from The container Store. I have a list of probably about ten or fifteen different products that I always use in spaces that I organize. And one of those products are these selfadhesive instant wheels. I discovered these wheels probably about six months ago when I was just browsing The Container Store and I am so glad I bought them. I went home and I put them on my laundry hamper because my hamper is always so heavy to.
Move from my bedroom to my laundry room. I put them on the bottom, let me show you. Do you see They're on the bottom. There's one in each corner. I don't know if you can see that. Um, but now I just roll my laundry hamper from the bedroom to the laundry room and it's so easy. These things are awesome. They hold up to two hundred fifty pounds and once you stick them to the bottom of any surface, they are permanently there. They're not going to come off. They're not going to peel off.
How to Design a Container Garden
Hi! I'm Virginia Ash from Costa Farms. today we're going to talk about container gardening. In constructing a container garden, you want to have three elements. The first element we call the thriller. it's a Tradewinds hibiscus. This is going to go in the center or back of the pot and it provides height and drama to your container. The second element of our container garden today is going to be the filler. These beautiful dahlias are going to add color and they will help tie our container garden together. The third element that you're going to add.

How to Organize Business Cards w Northern Virginia Professional Organizer Alejandra Costello
Hi everyone, it's Alejandra. And I want to talk to you today about business cards. So I work with a lot of clients as a professional organizer and the one common denominator between all of my clients are these little stacks of business cards just like everywhere in the house, in the kitchen, the entrance way, the bathroom, the office, the toy room. Like why are there business cards in the toy room Your kids don't want to play with Joe Smith, the plumber's business card. They want to play with Mr. Potato Head, LEGOs and dressup.
So it's time to gather all those cards that don't belong in the places where they're currently at and put them in a system that is going to be easy to put away, easy to find, and easy to grab when it's time to look for that card to contact that person that you've been meaning to contact for months. So I'm going to show you what I do. Since I'm a business owner, I go to a lot of networking events and I go to a lot of workshops and I'm constantly meeting new people and exchanging business cards. And when I.
Do that and I get a new card, I come home, I empty my purse and I put my cards into this jar that I got from the craft store. When this jar is full or it's halffilled or three quarters filled, I take the contents from here and I put them inside a business card binder that I made. This is just a regular twoinch binder that I got from Staples. And what I did was I got these A through Z colorcoded dividers and I file all my business cards with the name of the company.
So if the name of your company begins with A, I'm going to file your card in the A section. And I'm going to use these business card sheets that are again, available at Staples. They're made by Avery. And you can fit ten on the front and ten on the bank. So essentially, you can fit 20 cards in here. So I file all cards by the name of the company. But if it makes sense to you to file it by the person's last name so if your last name.
Begins with an M, you would file the card under M or you can file the card under what type of business it is. So if it's a floral company, you would file the card under F for flowers. Whatever makes sense for you to do just do. It makes sense for me to do it by company so that's why I do it that way. But when you are done, you have this great business card binder that is going to be really easy to just flip through and find the exact card when you need it. By setting up a business.
Organizational Tips Rice Storage in the Kitchen Pantry
Hi everyone, it's Alejandra. And in this tutorial, I just want to give you guys a quick tip for storing your rice in the pantry. So this is where I have all my dry goods inside the pantry. If you want to see my full pantry tour I did a while ago, you can watch the tutorial. I will put a link to it at the bottom of the tutorial. But yeah, this is my dry goods. So my tip for this tutorial is if you have a lot of rice like I do here, let me just shift.
All the containers and then I will show you exactly what this looks like. So if you have a lot of rice, I have like five or six varieties, white rice, there is basmati rice, jasmine rice, wild rice, that's red quinoa, and then brown rice. So what you don't want to do is I mean you can do this but I feel like I don't want to do this because it takes up a lot of space, is have all these little containers for each single rice like it's going to take up so much space. You have to go out and buy more.
Containers. So what I did here was I put all of my different varieties of rice into a Ziploc bag just like this and then I cut the outside of the original bag out and I taped it to the front of the Ziploc bag so I know exactly what is what. So brown rice is right there, red quinoa right there, and so forth. So now, all of the rice is inside one airtight container just like that. It's sorted by category, it's easy to access, and it saves room because everything.
School Supply Organization How to Organize Small Supplies at Home
Hi, everyone. It's Alejandra. And in this tutorial, I want to show you a really cool way and easy way to organize all of your office supplies, your school supplies, or even like arts and crafts supplies or anything small you have in your house like maybe even toys in the toy room. So here it is. It is using a door pockets to store all of the tiny things. So I have used these clear door pockets. I just put them on the door. They just hang with these hooks right here.
Nothing is drilled inside the door. And I have categorized all of my office supplies. So I have paper clips, binder clips, thumbtacks, safety pins, all my markers, more markers, some of my other small office supplies like rubber bands, there's a calculator, ruler, and stuff. And then I use my photo labels to label each of the section so I knew where everything goes and where to put everything back. So using this system like what you see here with like clear pockets and pictures labels is great for children. Like it's great if you're organizing school supplies or arts.
Supplies for your kids because it's so visible. They can immediately see what they want and they can easily grab it. And everything is labelled so it's just a matter of playing a matching game when you're putting something back or when your kids are putting something back. And of course, what you want to do is you want to keep things that you don't want your kids to reach at the very top of the door pockets. Like for example, thumbtacks. You don't want them playing with those. So put them at the top or your safety pins or markers.
That they shouldn't use when you're not around. And then things that you want them to grab on their own, you want to go ahead and put at the bottom. Something else you can do is you can put a piece of Velcro like down here behind the door pocket and on the door to kind of hold it in place. I don't really have that problem but if you have the problem of the thing swinging, put a piece of Velcro down there, down here, maybe in the middle and it's going to hold it in place.
